The Toronto Debating Society presents an all candidates meeting at the Swansea Town Hall, 95 Lavinia Ave (1 km south of Bloor and Windermere, one street east on Deforest Rd).

The Parkdale Ratepayers Association, the Roncesvalles MacDonnell Ratepayers Association, and the Parkdale Liberty Economic Development Corporation present an all candidates meeting at 20 West Lodge Ave (North of Queen St W, one street east of Lansdowne Ave).

Elizabeth May, newly elected leader of the Green Party of Canada, has embarked on a whistle-stop tour of Western Canada. Travelling by Via Rail passenger train, her tour will take her from Vancouver to Ottawa. Elizabeth will make a stop in Toronto on Monday, September 4. Come out and see her at 8:00 pm at Union Station, 65 Front Street West, in downtown Toronto.

Come out and support Frank de Jong in the provincial by-election campaign in Parkdale-High Park. This event will take place immediately after Elizabeth May's stop at Union Station.

The Green Party of Ontario is having it's Annual Policy Convention on 27 May at the University of Toronto. The policy convention is open to all members of the GPO who wish to attend.

There will also be an after-conference dinner with talks by prominent environmentalists held at the Free Times Cafe on the evening of the 27th. Cost is $25 and is open to anyone.

On the 28th, GPO members and candidates are invited to a series of presentations by the Issue Advocates on Green Party policies and plans.
